Ford GT production ends this year

I predict the value of Ford GTs will rise considerably because of this short production run.

Ford has another 6-figure sportscar concept, I recall...

According to Ford big-wigs, the GT was slated for a 2yr run to begin w/. It's just that the reaffirmation of this happened to coincide w/ the cancellation of other Ford Motor models and forthcoming plant closures.

I personally like the fact that the GT will have a limited run and less than 5,000 GT's produced in all. It's definitely an exotic that I like alot...

That was the only way for Ford to be able to sell a 150k+ car: super low production.

Anything above 2-3000 units is very difficult to sell at high price if you are not part of the top prestige brands.

That is why I keep on repeating that the new NSX should stay at below 90k, better in the low 80s.

How easy will it be to get parts for this car in the future? With all the recalls, lord knows we'll need 'em!
Well, apparently the key is the same as all the other Fords, so should be easy to find in the junkyards.:frown:
Whoops, wrong thread.

Ford didn’t see a way to meet upcoming side impact standards with the car so it was ALWAYS a “3 good years” car.

Thank God they’re NOT building the hideous “Adrenalin” model!
