The advantage in my viewpoint is that if you buy both at the same time you save $100. Otherwise there just isn't any.

Is it still for sale?

I am not familiar with its application for the NSX? Can you explain its advantages or disadvantages?

Thanks.

Yes, they are still for sale.
These turbochargers are not NSX specific. They are found in different setups. These are brand new Garrett T04b oil-cooled turbochargers. The a/r on the exhaust side is 1.15 and on the compressor side is .60. The inlet on the compressor side is 3 inch and the outlet is 2. The inlet on the exhaust side has the standard T4 flange and the outlet is 3 inch. The shaft spins great without any play (they are new, duh!).

This turbo will produce a huge amount of power, especially as part of a twin setup. This turbo would be absolutely perfect for an aftermarket turbo project requiring a t-4 turbo. It would be great for any individual looking to produce alot of power. This turbo is commonly installed on four and six cylinder motors as seen in Honda, Acura, Volkswagen, Dodge, Nissan, Ford, etc. Also installed on many eight cylinders as part of a twin turbo setup.

This turbo will not run out of breath like those smaller t3 or t3/t4 turbos. Many people start with smaller turbos because they are cheaper. Then after doing futher modifications to their motors they find that the turbo cannot put out a steady amount of boost after they try to increase the pressure. Then they are required to go through the hassle of modifying everything to fit the larger turbo. Let me tell you from experience, if you are planning to increase your power a little (75 to 100hp), get a t3 or a t3/t4. If you are planning on pushing alot of boost to make alot of power (increase of 150 to 300hp), start with the right size.

Hope this helps
Alex
