While changing my turn signal lamps, I noticed an extra connector close to the whole light assembly. Is that to connect aftermarket fog lamps?
Thanks
Armando
I don't know, but keep in mind that there are differences based on which market an NSX was originally made for. Canadian NSXs come with daytime running lights in the air dam as standard equipment. I believe some markets (Europe and/or Asia) offer (optional?) fog lights or driving lights.
I don't know if all NSXs have connectors that might be used in only some markets.
I believe it is for the factory driving lights. I bought a set of JDM lights and they do plug in but they don't appear to have any power running to them.
UK cars all come with fog lights. The wiring for them is in the same bunch of wires that feed the side light and indicator. The connector is blue (if I remember right). The lights then have another short wire. There are two threaded holes in the bumper beam to which a bracket fits that the light mounts on.
These plugs are for the OE foglamps or daytime running lights. However, the US cars have segments of the wiring complete between this harness, the fuse box, and the interior missing.
