You should pay close attention to Chapter 316.191 which concerns street racing. A police officer at his sole discretion can decide if you are racing and arrrest you and impound your vehicle on the spot. It is probably a good idea to join AAA and have that bail bond certificate handy.
Also know that Florida law mandates a written warning (i.e. no moving violation) for speeding up to 5 MPH over the posted limit. I keep a print out from the FHP website in my car just in case. The actual statute is Title XXIII Chapter 318 Section 18 Sub-paragraph (3)(b) which can be found here. The law does not apply in a school zone.
