Hello everyone!

I'm going to start a thread here for the July 17th, 2005 Florida NSX/S2000 gathering. Thanks to PrimoGen (Rob) and 2NRWerks (Todd) for putting the event together.

Lunch was at the Castaway restaurant on SR60 Courtney Cambell causeway. NSXCA President Wei-Shin was in attendance and handed out some prizes as well as gave a pep-talk about "the Club". Sorry, I neglected to get some photos of the fabulous view from the dining area (I was too busy eating my food!).

Too bad about the ticket...

The meal was followed by a drive along the backroads through northern Hillsborough (and Pasco?) counties. Unfortunately just at the start of the drive we lost a few of the cars who went east instead of north on the Veterans expressway I hope they were able to catch up later on. I only made it to the first stop and had to turn around but the route chosen by Rob and Todd seemed very nice! I hope that the weather held up for you all!

Here's the planning session at the first waypoint:

Should've used the wide angle lense for this one...

Hope you don't mind if I add a couple on here.

I don't mind at all! This thread is for all the photos from the gathering. I know that there are plenty more out there because I saw many people with their cameras (some bigger than others... hah hah hah!)

Whose red NSX with the custom interior by the way?

Bodypainter, those refinished rims really look good!

Nice pics guys, way to enjoy the sunshine!

I would like to thank Todd and ? (forgot his name) for making this happen...
I had an absolute blast! When are we going to do it again?

The meet was in Tampa right along the causeway going toward Clearwater.

The turn out was great! I'm not sure how many the actual total was though. There were a good number of NSXs and as many if not more S2000s. Some people chose not to go on the drive after lunch (and still others may have gotten lost).

What size wheels are on the radical black NSX? Look like 19/20

Did you guys make it down Patterson Road? I lived in Citrus Park about 2 years ago and I loved driving Patterson, tons of curves and not alot of traffic. It was always me and lots and lots of fast bikes! I found Patterson riding with a few of my buddies on my R6 before the NSX appeared in my garage.

Patterson road was under water because of the hurricane that blew through the week before. That was our original route. Very spirited turns with many places for the "law" to hide out. We started off by going north on Crawley road the to Gunn Hwy. then over Lutz Lake Fern road to 41 then north to Ehren Cutoff. Ehren Cutoff was hilly with turns you can take at high speeds. The guys and gals loved it!

Very fun, and lots of compliments. Thanks to all who attended! You guys are great! Rob and I are glad everyone was safe and had fun. We are also glad to have a great group of people in the Tampa Bay area and Central Florida.

We will do this again in the fall. THANKS AGAIN!

I love the s2k and the NSX. Somedays I wonder if I should get an s2k instead of waiting for the NSX because I could probably get one in a few months vs a few years for the X. No offense to s2k guys, but when I see pics like this it reminds me to wait. Cool pics that must have been fun to have all those cars together.

No offense taken LOL Each car has its positives and negatives. I would have a NSX if I could afford another car too. On the same note I am very happy with the S.

The drive was a success and I was very happy with the turnout. We should be doing another one later this year when the weather breaks a little bit.

Nice photos

I think our count at the end of the day was 15-NSX's, 13-S2000's, 3-350 Z's, 2-240 SX's, 1-RSX, 1 Supra and 1 DSM 34 total cars with a few long lookers at all the stops

Great turnout guys!!!

I posted some pictures of the run on another board and some of the people commented they thought the Supra that accompanied us for a while belonged to Hulk Hogan's son. Anyone know anything about that? I did not notice who was driving the car.

This one.

That is Chris, he is not Hulk's son but that car is pretty bad. He is a regular when we hang out.

Nick's car (Hogans kid) is similar but not this car. Same color same hood MUCH different setup. Chris has a killer car though but about half the HP as Hogans car (I say hogans car because it is realistically pops car) Project car for dad and the kid. LOL
