Just picked up a floor jack at Costco. It is a 3 1/2 ton heavy duty jack that should last a long time.
Here is why I mention. It has a 4" lift clearance which should easily fit under a stock (non lowered) NSX and pretty much any other car.
It is about 1/8" too tall for my car which is lowered with Ctech Springs and Bilstien shocks. But driving up on 1" boards is way better than what I used to have to do to get a jack under the car.
The jack is made in China but looks to be very qood quality. It must have weighed 75 pounds! It is made of heavy duty steel and has a dual piston lift mechanism which should make lifts faster.
There are other, lower jacks out there that will fit under lowered cars but none so cheap. This one sells for $70, all ther others I have seen of this design sell in excess of $150 + ship.
Just an FYI
BTW: They also sell a aluminum jack 2 ton, for $269 but it did not look worth it. The hydraulic mechanism looked weak and it pumped up really slow. But if you need a light-weigh, they have those as well.
