Flat Black Painted NSX ... on here?

I saw a picture of an NSX painted flat black along w/ some carbon fiber panels (maybe) and was wondering if that owner is on this forum. Anyone know who I'm talking about? It was a very nice ride.

The owners name is NSXINOHIO... He's a cool kid.. Ive seen the car in person a lot and its come along way.. Hope that helps..

Hmm...when you do that, is there a special type of clear coat to make it look so good? Not that I'd ever want to do that, but still...it looks VERY clean, unlike 99.9% of other flat black cars I've seen around

I agree... Its one of those kickass colors you can just look at all day, but would never want to paint it on your car.

JUST FYI, This car is only flat black becuase the owner do not have time to paint it. It is a work in progress. I was at NOPI and parked next to him and his dad...real nice people. They got as project to work on and just plain ran out of time before nopi. IT looks good in the photos but is very rough in person.

I agree. That car did not look great in person. It will look much better after a paint job.

Like it has been stated before, i took the car to nopi not in top notch form. For the amount of work and time we had in it really sucked when the bodyguy and paint guy decided to back out and put me in bad position. Did the only thing we could to get the car there. trust me looked 100% better flat black then white and red, hahaha. But right now all the panels are coming over and im in search for a new paint guy. Cant wait to get it painted and post pics.

For a overnite paint job it looked as good as it probably could have.. Theres a few rough areas but over all car looks awesome.. And yes they do make a special flat paint that has a clear coat go over it..
