Ok, fitting a spoiler should be pretty straight forward but what are these for?

Came with the spoiler.

If it helps there are two small holes on bottom of the spoiler, the nipple on the plastic strip fits in nicely. Also came with some foam pads. Anyone fitted one of these before?

Also the spoiler came with with screws per side all with a washer and locking washer.

I'm guessing that it goes screw - locking washer - washer - trunk - spoiler. Is that correct?

If I remember correctly, the plastic tabs are to help mount/align the spoiler during installation. However, since the spoiler is a simple bolt on (or it should be and you're not drilling any new holes) then you wouldn't need those at all. The foam pads are applied to the bottom of the spoiler to help avoid scratching the trunk lid, or are used around the hold to seal out any water (which wouldn't matter anyway since the holes are in the "drain" area around the trunk). Hope that makes sense :)

Yeap.

Thanking you :D

Shame its raining, hopefully shouldnt be by time i get home.

Excited, I have several bits to fit over the weekend.

And guess what?? it's a bank holiday monday here in the uk this weekend and.... GT series are at my local track this weekend. Believe there may be a NSX running.

It's a Type R style spoiler.

Have a Type R style bonnet to go with it.

Just scratching the surface on my carbon list, would like carbon diffuser, side steps, front spoiler, number plate surround but need a us spec bumper first, pillars, side intakes and trunk with lip spoiler.

not long now until i get to go home and fit them :D.

Spent last few weeks sorting out my drive and taking the rest of the parts of my 300zx so i can get it taken away and finally bring the nsx home.

No more driving to the lockup to take my car out.
