First time track guy

Bring an open mind. You know way LESS about driving than you think you do.

Seriously, don't worry about going fast. That will come with time. Just learn and have fun.

PS- it's addictive.

I would just make sure your tires, brake pads and fluids are in good condition. Otherwise, Just have fun.

Bleed all four corners of your brakes, upgrade to a high temp brake fluid like Motul 600. Have someone at the track help you with tire pressures through out the day, make sure to have your own pressure gauge so you can check pressures hot, right off the track.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate...I like to take some Gatorade, diluted 50% with water...

Have lots of fun, ask lots of questions, listen to the instruction, learn by watching and following suggestions and get as many ride alongs as you can!!
