There is something gratifying knowing (or at least thinking) that you are the first one that has broken open a door panel to do some work. As you can see here, the inner lining is untouched (or considering a pro was in here before me - and put it back to OEM).
The screws in the door handle are in the right spots.
Of course, to keep this job first-class, one has to take many photos for reassembly purposes.
And finally, the issue that started this all...
Thoughts on how to fix this?
