Well, I did something that I never thought I'd do; run a car at the drag strip. I'm not a big fan of drag racing. I like to turn at the end of the straight's, but it was interesting to say the least. My first ever launch at the track and I had a .530 R/T. That's pretty impressive from what I've ben told. I stayed under .650 for three of my four runs too. My best 1/4 run was a 13.806 at 103.28 mph. I wasn't dumping my clutch and I took it pretty easy off the line and I only got beaten by a Ford Lightening SVT with Nitrous.
My overall impression was that standing around for four hours and driving for a grand total of one minute is not my style. I must say that the NSX did get alot of respect from the V8 guys that I smoked. They may havee a 1 or 2 car length advantage at the start, but when V-Tech kicks in with 2nd gear the NSX pulls away by a few car lengths.
-Cheers
