what would you recomend to modify first on my bone stock 2000 auto trans nsx. i have put in a k&n filter but thats all so far. whats next - chip? NOS?

I love this question, and I almost always answer it the same way:

First, get to know your car. You will have no way of knowing what you want to modify to suit you particular driving style until you spend some time behind the wheel No one but you can determine that.

Second, your best "bang-for-the-buck" mod is to spend your money on the nut that holds the wheel.

Good luck Jim!

K&N...then NOS? Kinda a weird jump.

I'd start with rims, springs, exhaust...then go from there.

No, he´s right. I would go for the rims, springs, shocks, exhaust, header, in this order as well...

Regards Michael

1. Cantrell Intake...cheap mod but great sound and horsey's:wink:

2. Bilstein shocks (gives the car an aggressive stance AND WORKS WITH OEM SPRINGS IF YOU WANT)

2b- If you want to go a lil' lower, a set of comptech springs.

3. Rims...nuff' said!

4. Ark Exhuast, oh, she'll purr like a kitten:wink:

Since most of us here are not full tie racers, i'd prefer to start from the aesthetics aspect and then work my way in, to the performance parts. here's what I did,and you can use it as reference =)

*Carbon Fiber dash in-lay
*Carbon Fiber Razo shift knob
*Sparco Torino racing seats
*NSX-R floor mats
*Wing West front-lip
*Vinny's Marga Hill Replica side-skirts
*NSX-R mesh shift boot
*Volk GT-C's
*Still looking for shocks to lower the car!

guess i should have been more specific. i'm looking for more HP and torque with 2 less gears than most nsx's and the 3.0 engine i need more power. As for the gt-rom link, i can't read it. is there an english page? Is there any difference between the 3.0 and the 3.2 other than engine size?

About 20 horsepower...Also the 3.2 has a few improvements with the block, clutch, headers, and the ecu is different.

For starters, go with exhaust. The wheels are not 15/16 so it's not horrific, but the exhaust will really make the NSX come to life!

If you're willing to spend a bit more, get a set of headers while you're at it. Intake is a no brainer. If you have the patience and opportunity to do one at a time... put the exhuast on, drive and enjoy it for a good month or so before bolting on the next and so on... that way you really enjoy each piece and can really differentiate between them! Much more fun!

Jimrockford If you want to read the Gt-rom website just go to google and type in Gt-rom and google will translate it for you. Right next to the link there should be a {Translate page} next to the Gt-rom link..That is how I got to read whats on the page.. If you see something u like you have to e-mail them.....

Good luck with your ride
