Well, after dreaming about this car since the day it was first released and slowly saving up funds for the last couple years, I'm finally the owner of my dream car!
It took almost a month to ship it from Arkansas out here to Hawaii, and it was filthy when it got here. Took some time today to give it a wash and snap some quick pictures. Sorry for the poor iPhone quality--I'll have to ask one of my friends who are better at photography to take some pictures that represent the car better.
It's a 91 coupe originally painted Berlina Black but repainted by a previous owner to the current blue color. According to the dealer it is MCBP but the paint seems to have more purple in it than I was expecting. I don't have an MCBP here in Hawaii to compare it to, but to my eye it actually looks similar to the SSBP offered on the later-year Integras. There are more details from other Prime members posted on this thread: http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showt...nted-blue-JH4NA1152MT003021?highlight=91+blue
Car is stock except for the rims, which I can't seem to identify. I have a couple small changes planned (whiteNSX's HID kit and a guppy antenna), but I really wanted the chance to drive the car as close to its original setup as possible before deciding if/what to mod.
I learned a ton just reading up on this site while preparing to finally buy the NSX. Now that I actually own the car, I look forward to getting to know more of you and to learn from you all!
