Hello,

Not looking for a cage to buy, but the FIA plans to build a copy. Does anyone know who builds them, or any details? Obviously there must be an FIA approved cage because of the JGTC, right?

Thanks for that.

I have found a FIA approved rollcage over in the UK, not sure whom it was for (don't think anyone has raced an NSX over here). It goes through the rear bulkhead and attaches onto the rear suspension, so is quite extreme. If anyone wants more details i'll try and post it all up.

Cheers,

-Rob

Hi Rob,

I’m confused… what do you need this for? Is the FIA asking you to get documentation for a spec?

Any Grand-Am NSX is FIA. The HART team or DAL NSX’s have FIA approved cages. I could provide pic’s and details. PM- [email protected]

A qualified race chassis prep shop can custom build/install you a quality cage that meets FIA specifications, and you can then have the work inspected/tech'd by your sanctioning body for rules compliance.
