Ferrari guys at Tremblant this weekend

Nice pics.....the rodeo de concours was today in Beverly Hills.

Maybe someday, the NSX community will see Tremblant as a viable option for XPO eh Dave?

Right... since their monthly club lunches cost about as much as our 90K service. Perhaps if we showed with a re-badged red 91' coupe no one would notice.

John you are closer than you might realize. At the FCA national meet in Atlanta some years ago, I attended in my red 91 coupe and was directed to a Ferrari-only parking area. I had to tell the guy it was not an F-car! Pretty funny.

Ever since I started spending more and more time at the track, these Fcars are becoming less and less appealing to me.

I just dont know if they're reasonably durable.

The Pcars seems to be bulletproof, as my NSX has been for me, so far.

I totally agree with your F-car summary. I think if you are tracking a street car regularly you can't beat a NSX or a Porsche for reliability and fun.

Word is if you want cheap fun, used track prepped BMWs are going for a fair price these days....

While their are always exceptions, and I was not in attendence... I would suspect that similar to other similar club events like this, that was likely about the most track time the majority of those 360's will ever see for the rest of their history. A great photo-op with likely few competitively low lap times.

Their are a few in the F-Club whom do actually have the neccessary funds (like millions) to field the higher end challenges (usually with commercial tractor trailers, trailers, tools, nitrogen, etc... to bring to events as well) and further have both the driving skill and fiscal resources to professionally race their vehicles, and will show up and lay waste to everyone else on P-Zero slicks... I can assure you that few attending that event will ever truely push their cars around a road course, as they might well get a rock chip.

In my experience... I would say that for most of the F-Club owners with the 360's it would be a significant issue if a motor were to require major service, etc... let alone so much as a door ding... and as with the other higher end exotics they are designed as much for exclusivity & bling as for actual performance.

For most performance track enthusiasts with semi-realistic go-fast budgets that actually like to go fast, a new 360, Lambo, GT40, etc... would likely not be the best choice.

Besides, racing can be a good spectator sport, as F-Cars look funny when they get lapped by a STI.
