He claims the Ferrari is worth $240k, but will sell for $90k. Sounds fishy.

456's with high milage are only worth about $60-80k.

That car brand new is $240k, sure.

Im amazed someone has 40k on a Ferrari in less than 6 years. Amazing.

I think, suprisingly, thats the highest amount of mileage Ive ever seen on a Ferrari, even taking into account the Ferraris of the 60's, 70's, 80's.

Most used Ferrari's Ive seen have 15k, 25k, 30k at most.

No ones bought the car yet, either, because of the costs to maintain / drive a higher (than average) mile Ferrari.

There are plenty of 348's with over 50k and alot of 355's with over 40k.

I don't trust that automatic transmission. It costs 50K to replace it. The other issue with that car is the windows which is a 10k repair.

That same guy posted that car here on prime for trade... I'll see if I can find it.

Where's our Z06 troll? I'm sure he could pontificate for pages about how his car is better. :)

An automatic, 4 seat, boring looking 456 Ferrari for that kind of money and inheriting that kind of maintenance and not being able to drive whenever you want for fear of more miles?

Not that I am a vette fan but I might have to agree with a Z06 troll.

I have a friend with a 1996 355 with 53,000 on it. The major engine out service is due. I think it's going to run him $8,000. Yikes.

Thats only if they don't find any thing. Hopefully he has had his valves replaced already and his exhaust manafolds.
