Where can you get material that is similar to the plastic used in fender liners? Maybe just go to the boneyard and grab some?

I'm thinking of making front fender liners that have a relief for wider tires, namely 235/40/17. I've got good clearance everywhere except the liner.

Q: Actually the fender liners are very good plastic. What you could do is just cut off the outter lip of the fender liner (the part where it meets the fender). I would try to keep the liner on the car at all costs. It has a lot of uses such as decreasing turbulence, protects the fenders from starchips, keeps the gravel and dirt away from the rocker / fender area. Good luck.
