HI everyone,

I am in dire need of someones help. I have a 1995 NSX and I have a check engine and TCS light on. I believe I have pinpointed the problem with the help of a couple of prime members. I need to purchase a spark plug voltage detection module but it is like 853.00 here nad 500.00 in the states.

I was wondering if anyone in the GTA area has a 95-96 NSX that I could borrow the module from to make sure that is the problem before I go and spend the money. It is a small module that sits right by the alternator. Please some help would be really appricited. Thanks again
Kind Regards
Mohammad

Are you sure you need to buy this part?....We have a FactoryNSX tech on the board from the GTA that can help. I would also recommend that you take the car to Erin Mills (NSXCC Members get a great discount there)

Bram is right. PM factorynsxtech here on prime he will give you the guidance you need. Or join the NSX Club of Canada for $100, and save 20% on parts and labour at Erin Mills, plus get all the cool benefits of membership!

Good luck!

Hi Bram,

From what I have been told this is the next step. I checked all of my spark plugs, coil packs and connectors. The code that I am getting is P1317. I had other codes pop up when I ran the codes as soon as I got home they were all for misfires, but they have been cleared and have not returned. Thanks
Kind regards

Thanks Sean will do. :)

Instead of trying to be the DIY mechanic - take it to Erin Mills. I had the same issues with my 95 and the check engine light, took it there - told me the problem and ALSO told me there is a recall on the 95's and have ordered $,$$$.00's of parts for free due to the recall - you will NEVER know this on your own and that's why dealers are there - to help and support us! The entire OBC and emissions are being replaced all under warranty - NOT BAD for a 14 year old car. Your car has to be checked and there are stipulations for qualifying.

Erin Mills is a great choice but Rob, Factorynsxtech on PRIME, works at OAKVILLE ACURA.

Alan is your guy at Erin Mills.
Rob is your guy at Oakville Acura

Both are great

Definitely join the NSX Club of Canada to get your discounts! It will pay for itself first day!

Thanks everybody for all the great recommendations. NXSS and I have connected and he will be looked after. Im also willing to help other NSX members.
