I would not replace it if it is not slipping. There can be a few causes:Flywheel (hot spots)Pressure Plate (same)Clutch dust mixed with the spline grease (most common)Even the Honda special grease will accumulate the clutch dust over time. This will make the disks alittle more difficult to slide and you can get shudder. Using alternative greases other then Honda's will make it much worse, much sooner.Unless it is really bothering you, I would leave it alone, when it slips, then do it.I have 33K miles and mine shudders slightly, not a really big deal.Save the moneyHTH,LarryB
