I'm planning on signing up for NSXPO 2016 as soon as signup is available. This will be my eighth one. It seems like they all are interesting, but I have my favorites as I'm sure most others do too.
My first was NSXPO2007, which for me was the BEST TRACK DAYS, of all the ones I've done.
I then missed going for two years so my second one was LasVegas, in 2010. I thought the hotel there was the BEST VENUE. I skipped the track days because of rear tire issues and a right side window that suddenly quit working.
NSXPO2011 was largely forgettable except I thought the BANQUET DINER WAS BEST for me because of the people I shared a table with. I didn't sign up for track days that year.
NSXPO 2012 in Denver had the BEST SCENIC DRIVE of all the ones I've been on. My track days there were marred by my instructor taking my car and I, for an off track jaunt during an instructional lap.
NSXPO 2013 was in Raleigh NC, and I enjoyed it a lot. I regretted not doing track days that year at VIR.
NSXPO 2014 was in Columbus OH, and it was my OVERALL FAVORITE. The Honda factory tour, and NSX NIGHT in down town Marysville OH were couple of my best memories. The three morning track events at Mid Ohio were somewhat marred by wet conditions two of the three days, but it was a good learning experience.
The 2015 NSXPO in Palm Springs CA got the nod for being the HOTTEST, temperatures were in the upper nineties. The scenic drive turned out to be special for me, as I didn't go with the group, but I did it a couple hours later and spotted the new NSX with Ted Klaus at the wheel. I got to follow him for short ways before he passed some slower traffic and I lost him.
So I'm looking forward to NSXPO 2016 in Orlando and I'm hoping to see many old friends and maybe make some new ones. Howard
