As the french police reported today, singer and guitar player Eric Clapton was caught on tuesday with 216 kph on the highway No. 6 near Beaune (a famous wine region with the race track of Dijon not far away) in a Porsche 911. Speed limit there is 130 kph. Two motorbike cops stopped him, took away his driving licence and charged him 750 Euros. Clapton had to continue the ride as a passenger, his personal assistant (male) had to drive the car.
