Don't have the instructions, but install seems simple enough from the FAQ. Can anybody tell me what locations the red and yellow wires plug into on the 16 pin harness to the security module?

Thanks!

I used to have one of those. I don't ever think I ever had more fun in any car. Drive flat out all the time and no one notices. Bought it for $500 after a fire with 10K miles on it. Spent $300 and about 30 hours on it. Drove it for 100K miles. Sold it for $1700. Cheapest miles I have ever driven. I get out to Seattle regularly. Maybe I can visit it sometime.

mdb,
You probably have your answer already, but just in case. I just finished installing keyless on my '92 (had to do it twice b/c I didn't insert wires in fully first time). Yellow lead goes to 2nd slot from the left on the top half of the plug. Red lead goes to 3rd slot from the left on the bottom half of the plug. Each of these respective slots should not be occupied already. Be sure to fully insert the metal leads so that the wire is all of the way in. The leads will only fit in one way. Do not force them, they can break. If you don't get them in all the way, your alarm will go off for no reason when you try to unlock using remote and/or your security system will not arm/disarm using the remote. Also make sure the wires are not touching. This will short the circuit and cause the alarm to go off. You may have to peel back some of the electrical tape holding the two wires together to get the leads far enough apart so they don't touch. Once fully installed, be sure to close the hood and check all doors, hatch, trunk are closed. If not, security system will not arm.

Ah, somebody else who understands! Took alot of crap from my friends for buying one :) $200, not running. Put a built 1.5 liter in it with a 5 speed, two pair 42 dcnf carbs, aftermarket ignition, suspension, etc. Had alot of fun working on it, and aside from being a bit to tall to drive it long, its a blast. Mosty everything on the road can still outrun it, but your right about wringing its neck the whole time you drive it without getting in trouble :)

Let me know when your in the area, visitors are always welcome!
