Hi, I have my NSX for 2 weeks now... still can't help not driving it... Start wondering why I kept my Accord for "daily driver". Well, maybe I will stop driving the X when Seattle weather is back in couple months.
I bought the car with 2 useless remote control, (the previous owner "not sure" why they are not functionable) but the red light on the remote does light up, so I suspect it's got enought "juice" on the battery. I didn't want to bring it to the dealership just that I don't have time nor I want to bring it there and got attacked for all the High dollar bills...
Here's what happened last night, I used my key to open my trunk while the car had been locked for a while, and all the sudden the alarm go off. I never set the alarm on, so does that mean the security system kicked in when the car is locked by keys??
Since I don't even have the Alarm menu with me, I'm not sure where to start looking for the module. Not to mention trouble shooting it.
My idea of the whole deal is that either get the 2 remotes programmed to work. or instead of spending $400 for parts and labors I'll just go for an aftermarket set up and toss the factory one away.
I will put HID on the car, so the alarm bothers me since it Blinks the low bean when it's going off.
Please give me some advise on this.
