Seen some pretty clean examples lately under $100k

Started talking about cars you can get under $100k these days and was shocked to see these beautiful cars are now starting to fall under $100k

Was thinking I wanted a Cayman GT4 , but these have me rethinking that:confused:

2006 w/32k $85,000

I struggle to find beauty in any F car after the 355.

Funny, I think after the 355, starting with the 360 is when Ferrari finally started making a proper sports car

I think we can thank the NSX for the swift kick in the ass:biggrin:

If I had the money a 458 would be first car I'd add to my collection

I love the 430 and have noticed this also. There’s only a few cars I would sell my Nsx for and this is one.

how are the scuds holding up? that would be my choice for the 430.

Double the price of admission of a regular 430 and rightfully so. Such timeless lines and the most rewarding driving experience

amazing that the type R version would be double, but that is similar to the nsx in Japan right?

They're beautiful, and sound wonderful. But wait until you have to pay for a major service.

Yep !

As 91 X says, seeing some apparently really nice 2005-2007 F430's for sale now at the $100-120K range, ones that would have been priced in the upper $130's to $155 K just 4-6 years ago..........I believe they are still coming down, but pretty close to their depreciation bottom for the next couple of years. Presently ~ $155 K buys a really nice 2008 and maybe even 2009 (not many 2009's out there I don't think, other than Scuds and 16M's). Right now there is a 2009 F430 on fleabay w/18xxx miles for $125K!

I've always longed for an F430, but still cannot fathom folding two of our NSX's in to get into one. Relatively cheap oil changes and Honda reliability are also considerations - spoiled me! I think if I ever did move into an F430 it would have to be a Scuderia - prices on them have also moved downward. Now seeing a few decent Scuds (with miles, that is) in the $180-210 K range, and those were $230-245 K a few years back. I could solve my "not-enough garage space" dilemma  and fold in three NSX's for this stunning example:

But then I'd bitch about the price of parts (few aftermarket parts alternatives for F cars) and the ridiculous charges for service.. . . . . does not keep me from slobbering on my keyboard when I view the pics of this one, though.

Regarding 458 Italias, they are depreciating quickly IMO - some are showing up F S on FChat below $200K now. Ferrari seems to have made so many of them.

There seems to be a low end price right now on the 458's at $159,995 as several on Autotrader have that exact price...there is a couple cheaper then that, but it's the $159k price that several are posted for right now.

There is a nice f430 private owner listing right now on Autotrader for $92k right now

Yeah, but at least starting with the F430's they don't require the engine out like the previous models.

430's are cheaper to maintain then the 360's .....but you better have a healthy savings account for something major goes wrong regardless I'm sure

I've been window shopping, too.

F355 IMO is gorgeous, but after driving a 95 Berlinetta I was underwhelmed. Majors are mondo $ unless you DIY, which I planned to. I don't find 360s attractive. F430s are gorgeous, but good luck finding a 6MT anywhere near $100k.

I find myself looking pretty intently at 997 GT3s.

haha 355's are like risotto.....plenty of glorious noises and average go..

F355 and F430 look great. Never cared for the F360. The fact you can do your own maintenance a little easier on the F430 makes it a bit nicer too however I would really want a scud too over the regular one. The 458 is nice but he 458 speciale or 488 look better in my opinion.

Like my car. It will rape your ears as it's getting passed by a new Altima.
Hahaha this is so true. Only having owned mine a short while but everyone says man that thing must be fast and it sounds so good. I just laugh and say yeah it does sound good but it is the slowest car I own and the other cars all have 4 doors.
