F1 Thread?

ok, ive tried searching for F1, Formula 1, COTA etc but the returns were kinda vague...

just curious if there are NSX related things/events going on in Austin next weekend? to be sure, ill probably be all over that track most of the weekend...but if there was something specific going on in the local NSX community or some crazy event that only the locals might know about id sure like to have the info if available. or even just things i should do when in Austin...must have been there a half dozen times for concerts but i dont remember a thing!

also - is there an outdoor karting facility there (well, somewhat close to the track anyway) with fast/good karts for rent? dont care about $$$, just want to go fast. i mean no offense to the likes of K1; they have excellent facilities...im just not a big fan of the electric karts.

And if Bill is there, he might take you around the track in a crown vic. Which is surprisingly fun, especially down their 'corkscrew'
