F1 in Austin

I plan on going to the F1 race next month. I've never been to Austin and was wondering of good places to stay and eat at? Any tips would be appreciated.

Here's hoping you've located a place to stay in advance. The whole town is pretty much booked unless you find a room in San Antonio or north of Austin. Good luck!

Tons of good places to eat. I'd start by looking up places on south congress since parking is actually feasible in that area.
