I know this should be in the Race Topics, but I deem this important enough to post here as this gets the most traffic.

SpeedTV will be showing the 93 F1 season individual races. These races are classics for the most part between Senna & Prost. For those that don't remember his career or forgot what kind of person took part in the design of the NSX, check it out and you can see when Honda was king of the engine hill.

Tonight is race #3 and a schedule is here:

Tonight's race, the 1993 European Grand Prix from Donnington is widely regarded as the best race win of Senna's career. It was run in a complete downpour, and Senna is driving the McLaren/Ford which does NOT have the full factory Ford motor. That motor was for the Benetton team only, some young hotshoe named M. Schumacher and his teammate Jos Verstappen. I remember this race, and I believe Prost, who drives the Williams/Renault which was in a class of its own, makes no less than 4 pit stops. This is the year of full active suspension and driver aids. Its a great race to watch, as I certainly will be doing.

I thought Honda pulled out of F1 in 1992?

You are correct. Honda was king of the hill from 87 thru 91 if I remember correctly. A poor choice of wording on my part and mistake, but some validity to the statement in regards to the NSX engine being at the top of its game in 93. My memory fades w/age and the fact that Honda hasn't done much lately in F1

Honda is starting to make the F1 paddock shake. There have been a few times that they have posted the 3rd fastest time during the weekend except final qualifying... they are on the rise... they just need to improve reliability and they'll be on there way!
