Sound quality is pretty subjective, although most aftermarket units sound BETTER than the OEM exhaust.Note that SOME aftermarket exhausts actually rob you of low-end power/torque if used with the OE (1991-1996) cast-iron exhaust manifolds. They need headers to keep power above stock.
