Hey I picked up a newer style exhaust to go with my 2002 Valence. Unfortunately one of the tips was damaged in shipping. Essentially the edge of the tip on one side has been curved inwards.

I'm thinking I'm just have to hammer it out one way or another...but I'm curious if anyone has any tips or tools I can use to do this right? I was thinking something like a pipe expander but I can come from the other way as the tip is on the exhaust. Any help is appreciated.

I would take it to almost any muffler shop and ask them to straighten it on the bender. That machine has the capability to also expand pipe. That would straighten it like new. Don't hammer on it.

thanks, I was trying to avoid the hammer :)

I would contact the company who you bought it from or if not, the shipping company. Since it's so hard for either one to come out and say it was their fault, go with what Cairo94507 said and take it to any muffler shop.

I just bought it from a guy on prime...it's not that big of a deal...I'll get to it eventually, it can just sit there with the 02 valence and the rest of my parts
