I just finished installing headers (cantrel concepts), test pipes (Dali), and exhaust (ARK DTX). Overall the install was pretty straight forward with no issues. However, now that I am finished, I am afraid I have an exhaust leak. I have a noticable tick tick tick when accelerating, underload, at low rpms.
At high rpms, the thing is screaming so loud, I certainly cannot hear any leaks!
I replaced the gaskets at both ends of the test pipes with new gaskets, but reused the header gaskets. The header gaskets looked good, but hind sight is 20/20, I should have replaced them.
I have .wav sound files at the trunk, under the car between the rear wheels, and about 3 feet behind the car. I cannot get the files to upload due to format.
Any suggestions on how to confirm and locate an exhaust leak? Has anyone else noticed a tick tick tick after such an install? Any thoughts are appreciated.
