Exhaust Install Urgent Help!!! Please!!

Hi,

After cussing, huffing and puffing, I finally got those 6 "da**" nuts out. Now, how do I remove the exhaust??? Do I take out the bolts that held the nuts out, too? I am trying to remove the exhaust, but it wouldn't move.

Please help me. I have to attend a track event in 2 days, and I need to get this thing done.

Once you completely remove the bolts/nuts you must unhook the exhaust from the 4 rubber pieces which look like part #10 in the diagram below.

Spray some lube on the rubber hangers to help the exhuast slide on and off easier.

You don't have to remove the bolts, actually, they're studs.

Hi Yong,

Even with the hangers loose it can be kind of stuck there. I typically LOOSEN the three nuts on the front side of the front cat too. ( I know, the last thing you want to here) This makes the entire assembly loose, and things tend to come apart easier.

Did you get the PBBlaster and soak all nuts for a few minutes??

Hi,

Yes, I got it done. I just had to spend time wiggling rubber mounts to get them off. Thanks so much for all the advices once again.
