Another piece from my parts bin I don't need anymore. This would be great for a valvetronic custom exhaust project. I use 2 of these in my current setup and it's been going strong for 5+ yrs. I've gone thru many different kind of valves. The electric cutout valves are ones you want to stay away from. You want a vacuum actuated valve like this one which can withstand the high heat of exhaust systems. This unit happens to have it's own remote electronic valve control system. Therefore you can have a lot of options to control this valve via your aftermarket ECU/EMS, remote control, or even using the factory NSX ECU via the VVIS stock valve control system (opens at VTEC).
This was purchased at SEMA for $380. Selling brand new for $200 OBO shipped
BRAND NEW MCK Exhaust 3" / 76mm ECV (Exhaust Control Valve) allows you to control the loudness of your exhaust sound using a remote!
The ECV was created as an alternative to the standard silencer typically fitted in the tip of performance exhaust systems to lower the sound output. The ECV (Exhaust Control Valve) is a spring loaded butterfly valve that can be installed to the main piping of an existing exhaust system. The angle of the valve can be modified on the fly from within the cockpit to provide complete control over exhaust decibel output.
