The plates come new from Exedy at 4mm thickness and are good to 3mm. The inner plate on this clutch is 4mm, the outer plate is 3.8mm.
This clutch also comes with a Release Bearing already installed (saving you ~$160 :biggrin
There is some cosmetic damage to the outer cover as seen in the pictures.
This clutch is very easy to drive. And yes, this clutch makes noise; it's a bombproof racing clutch, good to 400 ft/lbs of torque (so it's NOT for the big boost folks).
