Re: What does a detailing like this cost?

Does anyone have a cost for such work, and how do you fine someone you can trust?

i'd say around 300-400$.

I love Detailingworld and Autopia.

I think my favorite NSX detail to date is still this, I even have it bookmarked..

http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-brag/104785-05-nsx-show-car-quality-detail-24-hours.html

and it happens to be by Joshvette and I believe owned by a member here.

The above is right you can expect to pay anywhere from $400-$700.

Just to kind of get up in the mix here are examples of my own work..

I am the owner of this NSX.,- I bought the car from a friend who maintained it OK but not perfect. I have tracked the car a few times- last time at Thunderbolt in NJ which had a very dusty, sandy run off area which I got to use twice! hence the sand inside the car. All the interior clean up was done last year- the exterior detailing was done last month. The resulting finish on the paint is not to be believed- better than new cars. David- who did the detailing - is passionate about paint restoration and I feel he does a job superior to anyone I have ever used or met. Yes- it costs a pretty penny but where else can you restore a paint finish to that level without repainting?
A job of this caliber runs about 1K- worth every penny!
His web site is:

streetdreamsdetail.com

If you look at his web site you will see my M5 and GTR and my son's M3 all of which he restored to better than new condition.
You can pm me if you need more details.

More like $700+

Thank you both for the kind words.

Yes, paint correction jobs can cost well over $700+ and Concourse prep can easily clear your saving account....

Think of it as an investment.... a new quality paint job will run you $7K-$15K so....

Look at what can be done with origional paint in the hands of a skilled detailer.

The NSX in this thread is also a member here I believe.

I was blown away by this write up, I using him to detail my Zanardi:wink:Only 45 minutes from me too!

David, does unbelievable work. Go to 6speedonline.com. His screen name is Smoke. Probably one of the best detailers in NJ. Also, the gloss it products he uses makes the paint look unbelievable as well. He will be detaing my car in a couple months once the turbo is installed, and my seats are installed. P.M. me if you need his number. Thanks, Frank

I was told my post made it over here to NSX prime, just want to thank you guys for taking the time to read my write-up.

I recognize quite a few people here already. Josh, Frank, Aaron (dOOt) and Jh(John) who is a close friend and my #1 customer.

If you guys have any questions regarding detailing and proper car care in general I would be glad to help you out
