Event calendar

OK guys (and the occasional gal), I thought it would make sense if we put together a calendar of events in Florida so we can all plan a bit ahead instead of ... Hey this week...

So, if you know of an event coming up anytime for the rest of the year, or one like the Amelia Island Concurs event which happens annually, let me know and I'll put together a calendar and we can create social events around it.

Don't have dates, but off the top of my head I usually go to these every year.

Spring exotic show downtown Celebration (Make A Wish show?).

Spring exotic show in St Pete (Festival of Speed?),

Exotic show on St Armands in the spring.

That huge show at Sarasota Square that we went to in January.

Also, this page caters mainly to classic cars, but occasionally there will be shows of interest to exotic owners.

The "Celebration Exotic Car Festival 2011" as it's officially called is April 7th through the 10th. The Concours is on Saturday the 9th from 10am to 4pm.

Looks like a great way to spend a Saturday. I'm thinkin' I need to be there. Hopefully the weather will cooperate - for the moment weather.com is saying there's a 50% chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. But this is Florida after all, so that could certainly change several times between now and then :tongue:

There's a police escorted rally on Sunday for anyone who had their car in the Concours on Saturday. If the forecast changes, I may just have to register the NSX and stick a Honda in the middle of all those F cars :biggrin:
