European tour

If I were to want to go on a driving holiday of Europe, trying to get the best roads and views, where would you recommend?

My idea is of Swiss mountains, staying in nice villages or towns on the way.

I would like to try and drive some 'classic' routes like the Stelvio Pass, if they are not too dangerous. I would also like the other drivers not to be too dangerous either!

You can drive a lot on the Swiss mountains in the sommer: Gotthard pass is also nice, then the Four-Cantons Lake, the Bern Oberland...

Nothing too dangerous, the other drivers are quite conscious. Just avoid Fridays were people (Germans, Dutch, Belgian(?spelling?), ...) pass Switzerland to go to the south...

Perhaps try and get some of the other NSXCB together to go on 'Tour'

What about the Lake District or Scotland? Superb roads and views.....
