Escort 8500 Upgrade

Finally I got a letter from Escort for a trade in with my old unit (8500) for a brand new X50. Those of you that have the 8500 might want to inquire about this.

It is free. I got a note in the mail about it. I just sent mine back today and should get a brand new X50 shortly.

I did have the extended service plan though.

Free is good. That is how customers should be treated.

I have 3 8500's and no service plans on any of them, have to give them a call and see if they will upgrade them for a fee.

Anyone know if the Best Buy extended warranty plans are good for upgrades? I too have 3 8500s, and it would be great if I could get them upgraded.
