I would suggest getting the service items done soon in any case. I did a number of general service items along with the belt and pump this spring. I spent $3K in all. I only drove the car a few hundred miles, after purchase, prior to getting the car in for service as I was concerned about driving with a timing belt that was out of it's time limit.


If the dealer is willing to try to help you I would jump at it. Your not the first owner of the car and the TSB time limit is up so I would not expect an OEM to assist in most cases.
