EPS and Check Engine Light on

So last Saturday I go and fill up at my local Exxon, that morning in Houston we had a huge rain storm blow through. I pull away from the gas station and I notice my ABS light comes on, which has never happened before. I go to the store, come out and the car turns over; but will not stay on. I here some clicking noise coming from the fuel pump, I presume. I finally get the car to stay on, so what I can only assume is that I got some bad gas with water in it, so I go and get some of that water evaporator and pour the entire bottle in my gas tank. Leave the car running for a little bit and try to burn as much of the gas out as I can. Tuesday I'm out all day, no issues with the car at all, burned about half a tank of gas. So yesterday I go and turn the car on and same issue, indicator lights start coming on, the car stays on; but the check engine light comes on and stays on, as I am driving my EPS light also comes on, the car drives and steers fine, except when making slow speed turns in the driveways and garage, anyway I'm taking the car in to my guy in the morning. I'm wondering what electrical gremlins could possibly cause this! The car accelerates and idles like normal, so I have no idea what it can be! Anyway, I'll find out in the morning hopefully.

What's the condition of your battery, battery connections, and main ground strap?

You know, I didn't think about checking the battery, connections, or straps. I might have banged something loose last month when I put my spare tire back in? I am still going to take it by my guy in the morning.

Turns out it had nothing to do with gas, it was just a coincidence. Loose battery connection caused two communication errors for the EPS and check engine light! Chalk it up to dipshit me!
