Just thought I would share (novice driver). First of all, thanks to Ross at STMPO for helping me make my car so much more fun. From his advice to his products, the ownership experience is more enjoyable due in large part to him.
Observations:
-All the non-compliant hardware and chassis reinforcement are worth every penny. I could get the tail out without fear of the unexpected bite like it had before.
-There was a lengthy right hand sweeper that made me very glad I had an oil pan baffle. Someone warned me his friend's NSX suffered from oil starvation on this track (counterclockwise) and it blew the motor.
-BBK is absolutely worth it. I don't know how people suffer through the undermatched stock brakes for track duty. No more braking problems, though they are expensive.
-I see why the NSX seems underpowered to people who track it. It could have used a bit more oomph (torque) for sure though I think without upgraded brakes it is probably "overpowered". I am hoping the RDX injectors and further weight reduction will solve this problem for me until it's time to turbo.
-My next weak link now is my tires. For my next set I'm definitely going to move up the performance ladder to an extreme category tire. Going to the track is a bit addicting and I feel safer now with the car modded. I felt the car had more in it but the tires were, absolutely, the limiting factor. If I can bear to use heavier wheels on the street then I may just put some legit sticky rubber on my tecnos and live with the reduced lifespan.
-I always learn so much about my car when I go push it, and have a great time.
