Hi Larry! Yes, it sounds like a whine... like I have a supercharger. It all happened kind of suddenly, but it started off "not so loud" and it got louder and louder as I drove home. If the belt is shot from it, then I'll cut it off for sure. I just had all new belts put on a few thousand miles ago so I didn't want to ruin a new belt... didn't know it was probably shot from this though.Frank said he'll probably be stopping by within a week or so. No rush since we're in an ice age anyway. Will update everyone when I dig into this more. Thanks for all the help!---Dan
