10 year X owner, but new to the board here and hope I am not going over old ground.
My question concerns the fan in the engine room Mine seems to not be working. I indexed a fan blade and it appears to remaing stationary. No, I have not done any basic troubleshooting such as consult my service manual for fuse location, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.
thanks very much.

It is unlikely you will ever see it running. For it to turn on your coolant temperature needs to be above 194F. On newer cars the engine bay fan has been omitted all together.
Any idea what 194F equates to on the coolant guage? I've seen mine run before but very rarely. I'm somewhat concerned because there's sometimes a faint burning rubber smell when I stop.

Probably your tires!

jk I only see them running at the track, and in the advanced groups. I am dissapointed when I come in, and mine is not on! I push harder the next session!

On the older models which came with fans, you remove the fan when installing the Comptech Supercharger, the fan is not considered necessary. I have 2 cars in that condition and no coolant temperature problems on either one.
