engine cover removal

can someone post a step by step instructions on how to remove the targa engine bay cover ???

Just remove the 4 bolts that are holding on the hinges. That is it.

Sorry for not being specific, NSX-T engine bay cover, I've noticed behind the driver side, there is some sort of wire and ground that is connected to the bay cover.

Would it be safe to just leave that exposed???

You'll need to unplug that connector and the nut that holds the ground bolt(8mm). When you have the top stowed, the switch makes contact with the metal tabs on the top and keeps the red dashlight off. Yes, the light will be off if the wire is just hanging there(mine was with no problem).
