ECU Upgrades?

I have searched around and can't really get a good feel for whether or not there is anything to be gained through upgrading the ECU in an NSX. Comptech has an entire ECU for $800 but only claims a 3+ hp gain? Why would you want to spend that kind of money for nothing? I would have thought there would be chips available but can't seem to find anything on them.

It sounds like you haven't looked in the FAQ (under Performance - Chips)...

Can anyone running the Dali chip provide a little feedback? I can see that it isn't going to be a huge gain but it does look as though there is an increase in usable torque in the mid range which would be nice.

Installed the Dali Chip in my 37820-PR7 ECU over 1 year ago.
No problems, the engine feels very happy. Me too.

I'm sure (but its my subjective impression) that the engine feels stronger, I like this mod.

Before I owned an original MUGEN ECU, but that part was a real
disappointment.
