Does anyone have input on EBC Brake Pads (www.ebcbrakes.com)? They have 5 levels of pads from stock to racing...Black, Green, Red, Yellow and Blue. Red and Yellow are available for NSX. Looking for experience. Thx, T.

I used to sell, and run these pads in my ITR with a 4 piston Wilwood BBK. They worked good (greens and reds) I have used greens on my NSX as a back-up. They were pretty good too. They do wear out a little faster than others, but the quality is good. They have been making pads for motorcycles for decades. Honestly, I now run Hawk pads exclusively, due to good value, and easy to obtain.

I have the green stuff on my NSX. The pads lasted very long compared to the oem ones and slightly cheaper too. I'm on my second set already. They also sell brake rotor (sloted and dimpled)

i like the EBC green stuff brake pads. but hate their dimpled and slotted rotors.

I've been a green stuff fan for 5 years. Had the pads on my RX-8, RX-7, and Eclipse.

Haven't used their rotors, I prefer powerslot's rotors for my street cars.

The green stuff is a very soft compound, and very easy on your rotors, a civic owner claimed he would go through a set every 6 months when he did some light track. They do have a slightly better bite, but do fade like a good OEM pad.
I've been told the red stuff has a similar feel to green stuff, but slightly less bite, and less fade.

Honestly, you'll have to test them out for yourself.

All of my cars/truck have EBC.

The truck has the 7000 series.

The FD (sold) has the Green Stuff

And the NSX has the Red Stuff.

I like the green stuff for cold initial bite in stopping and it polished up the rotors to an almost mirror shine.

Red stuff is better for higher speed stopping since it's less likely to fade.
