Scot said:ya, they must have hijacked someone's account...... they will tell you to send them a deposit to hold it and then you will never hear from them again.
ebay will end this auction within a few hours (i am guessing).....
amazing the amount of work people will do to try to scam people......

"Hello there and thanks for your interest
As you've probably already seen on my auction
the price I'm looking for my 2005 Acura NSX-T CONVERTIBLE is $41,000.00.
The car is in perfect condition, there's not even a
scratch on it. Everything from the motor to the tiers
and mirrors is shining and looking brand new.
I have a clear title for it , no liens or loans. The car is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
I will only deal through eBay for our own protection so they act as a neutral
third party.
They will hold and insure your money until receipt of the car in good conditon.
You will be gived a 15 days inspection period before releasing the payment.
If you wish to purchase it please provide me your full name and address so I can
initiate the deal through Ebay.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm Regards,
Michael"

CL65 Captain said:Just tell them you will be in Nigeria Mon for business and you will bring them two ox, four chickens and a virgin (well almost) in trade for the NSX.
froggie said:As if looking for an NSX wasn't already hard enough, these hoaxes are making the task all the more complicated. I started this thread a few weeks back: Carfax please: JH4NA1155MT001330, could it be true?
The seller claimed that the car was in florida, and he wanted the funds put on escrow.com. But after running a carfax, the truth was different: It showed the car was here, in Cali. it was obviously a hoax.
And then, guessed what popped-up on e-bay? this:

But having been scouting for an NSX for some time, I just realized that this ad seems familiar. Although this seems to be the legit one this time, I am more convinced that no matter how long it will take, my future car will have to be for sale locally - In fact I should go have a look at this one-, and with no fonny transaction schemes, period.
