I wonder if people truly take the time to read the ad. I don't think they realize they're only bidding for the option to buy the Viper. Or do you think people are really willing to pay $20k to be able to buy one of these cars at "dealer cost"? There are still 8 days left, so the bidding could go higher yet. I imagine there will be a disappointed auction winner, and possibly some bitter feedback.
