Earthquake!!

Yikes! It was rocking and rolling in Santa Barbara. We're not too far from the center. I was on the phone with someone in San Francisco and he said they could feel it...about 350 miles away.

My family in San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande said that it was quite the rollercoaster. But nothing major. A few pictures were knocked off the walls.

I was sitting with a manager at a local dealer at his desk when it occured. It felt like it was rolling(similar to how it feels when you are riding in a train). It seems like it lasted for a few minutes. No jerking or rocking, just a smooth liquid feeling. Even after it was over, we had the feeling it was still happening.

I was standing in line at Macy's here (women's lingerie section--don't ask) and all of a sudden I thought I was getting dizzy from shopping overexertion for about 15 seconds. Then the cashier said exactly what I was thinking! Gentle rolling for about a minute. The duration concerned me, but I'm used to these things, and outside in the traffic hell it was like it never happened...

Any other CalCoastal NSXers feel it? Let's hear about it.

Nope...didn't feel a thing.

It's kinda weird that it was located so close to Hearst Castle considering I had just finished posting all of my shots of it (from our Post-NSXPO drive) on my ImageStation account.

That reminds me...I have to update my NSXPO picture thread.
