they seem both like great track cars but the NSX looks better in yellow

I don't think I even consider the M3 color a yellow. Great car but maybe not so great color. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

There are two M3 cars in my neck of the woods. A white one, owned by a Japanese couple that only gets driven when it goes to church on Sundays, and a black one owned by a red-headed Jewish doctor that is always in the bodyshop. The front spoiler cracks and scrathes, it seems much too low for the city. A piston for the roof moved out of place and tried to come through the fender. I am surprised that BMW owners leave their cars out (not garaged).

The NSX seems rather small in size compared to todays generation of sports cars, 360 Modena, Corvette Z06, Viper, M3.

But I always say
SIZE DOES NOT MATTER!!!!!!
