I was watching 'Two guys garage' the other day and they were at the SEMA show.
While at the DupliColor booth they were showing a can of caliper paint that you can brush on. I like the idea of that because I don't really want to pull mine off completely to paint. I don't think I will be happy with results of spray painting them while still on the car.
Did anybody else see this or have any knowledge of this product or something like it?

I used that stuff on a set of Calipers on a previous car I owned and they turned out fine. I also didn't want to pull of the Calipers...but if I ever had to do it again I would pull them off and just get them powder coated.

The Dali stuff is a two part brush on application, seems to hold up well.

Steven Spanbauer,
Where did you buy it? I went to AutoZone and Pep Boys today with no luck.

I had to order it from a Parts Store I will try to dig up some of my receipts and PM you with the place.

i used high temp engine spray paint and sprayed it into the plastic cap, then dipped a brush into it to paint the calipers while on the car. waited for it to dry, then did the same with silver paint to paint the NSX logo, waited for it to dry, the sprayed the whole thing with clear coat. less than $10 in product you can buy at any autoparts store and it worked fine.

i dont have any close up pics handy, but you can see the general idea of the blue caliper here (if you look at it full size)

i put probably 30-40k miles on the car since i painted them and no problems with it chipping or coming off.

It seems like I tried that in the past and the paint didn't have the same consistency(?) as a regular brushable type. Maybe I bought the wrong brand or was doing something else wrong.
Either way, thanks for the tip and I'm glad you had better luck with it than I did.
